Kelly Patricia O’Meara ~ Dr. Linda Lagemann

Deanna’s first guest today was Kelly Patricia O’Meara, author of Psyched Out: How Psychiatry Sells Mental Illness and Pushes Pills That Kill. An award winning investigative reporter, Kelly Patricia O’Meara covered the psycho-pharma debate for The Washington Times’ Insight on the News magazine, writing more than two-dozen articles focusing on the fraud of psychiatric diagnosing and the connection between psychiatric mind-altering drugs and the violent behavior associated with them. She holds a B.S. in Political Science from the University of Maryland and has a new book that will be available soon. (MP3)

Dr. Linda Lagemann was our guest for two hours today. Dr. Lagemann closed her office after 23 years in private practice and observing that the “mental health” field has become dominated by psychiatric labels and drugs and is doing more harm than help. She has since devoted herself full-time to reform the field and inform the public about the damage and disability caused by psychotropic drugs, especially when given to children whose brains are still developing. Deanna talked about the dissemination of propaganda, accurate research standards, the holocaust, Germany, Eisenhauer/Eisenhower and his 200 death camps in the Rhine Meadow, and the Hollywood producers and directors who created the holocaust films that millions of people have seen.
The essence of the program was the idea that just because millions of people believe something is true does not provide adequate proof or validity of what, in fact, are devised propaganda, conceived to deceive. Moshe Solomons admitted, “The holocaust is Hollywood at its absolute best.” (MP3)

James Ph.D. is the author of A Sea of Broken Hearts: Patient Rights in a Dangerous, Profit-Driven Health Care System (2007) and co-editor of the just released, The Truth About Big Medicine, Righting the Wrongs for Better Health Care. John talked about “A new, evidence-based estimate of patient harms associated with hospital care.” At least 440,000 people die each year from hospital care, not from their disorder but from medical mistakes. Brandon Martinez, an independent writer and journalist from Canada was Deanna’s guest for the first hour of today’s broadcast. Brandon along with Joshua Blakeney, a freelance journalist based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada have also recently started a new podcast at Non-Aligned Media.

Heather A. Bowser, who was born with multiple birth defects due to her father’s exposure, as a ‘US’ soldier during the invasion and occupation of Vietnam to the chemical defoliant, Agent Orange was Deanna’s returning guest today. Heather, being an Agent Orange Activist & Survivor, along with Kelly L. Derricks also co-founded in January of 2012 the Children Of Vietnam Veterans Health Alliance. (MP3)
