There are a few organizations who are trying to expose the corruption within psychiatry. One of the best organizations is the CCHR, which refers to psychiatry as an industry of death. Psychiatry has infiltrated education, allegedly to improve functional literacy. Any school, even if it is private, that receives some tax support, is obligated to the federal government and any government-mandated health programs. The psychiatric infiltration of the schools resulted in the following. Previously, the school curriculum always focused on the development of academic skills. John Dewey wanted to alter the literacy rate as it promoted independent thinking which he viewed as antisocial. In 1965, the government transferred $1 billion a year from the taxpayers to the schools where the literacy rate was 97%. By 1975, the government was spending $7 billion a year to improve literacy which had decreased to 90%. By 1985, it paid the psychiatry industry $14 billion and the illiteracy rate by then was 83%. In 1995, it paid the industry $21 billion a year with a resulting literacy rate of 74%. By 2005, the government was spending $28 billion a year with a literacy rate of 69%. Since 1965, the government, in its incestuous, unholy alliance with the psychiatric industry, paid psychiatrists to rehabilitate the guinea pig prison population – not with talk therapy but with high-costing psychiatric drugs.

Another organization is AbleChild which works to inform people about the psychiatric labeling and drugging of children, and the risks of mandatory mental health screening and prescribed psychotropic drugs without receiving informed consent.
