Was it possible that her actions were because of her use of a doctor prescribed medication, (sedative/hypnotic) named Ambien? (MP3)

Elin Toona Gottschalk

Deanna’s guest this afternoon was Elin Toona Gottschalk, author of Into Exile: A Life Story of War and Peace. Elin Toona Gottchalk comes from a distinguished family. Her grandfather was the highly respected poet Ernst Enno, and her mother and father both were well-known actors in pre-World War II Estonia. Following a short stint in acting, she turned to writing and has had a successful literary career which includes many prizes. The President of the Republic of Estonia honored her with a medal, White Star V Class, for literary services to Estonia while it was occupied by the Soviets. (MP3)

Paul Fromm

Paul Fromm, director of the Canadian Association for Free Expression was Deanna’s guest this midwinter afternoon to talk about the recent US presidential campaign, election results and the history of immigration into North America. Paul earned his Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts degrees in English Language and Literature from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Education at the University of Toronto. He did post graduate work at Webster College in St. Louis, Missouri and Waterloo University in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. Paul also worked for twenty-five years as an instructor in the Ontario, Canada public school system. He is a longtime advocate for free speech, widely traveled and lectures at events throughout the United States and Canada. (MP3)
